Deutzia, Double Pink
Deutzia scabra
This fuzzy deutzia cultivar is a tall, dense, deciduous shrub with slender, broadly spreading to arching stems. Typically grows 6-10' tall with a spread of 4-8'. Upright, cylindrical racemes (to 6" long) of tiny, bell-shaped, fully double pink flowers (to 3/4" ) cover the shrub in late spring for about two weeks. Blooms later than most other deutzias. Ovate, opposite, dull green leaves (to 3" long) are hairy on both sides, hence the common name. Mature branches display exfoliating orange-brown bark.

Shipping and planting times are winter and spring months. Please choose from following months: November thru April. But we will make exceptions with limited warranties due to heat during shipping.
And, any tree shipped during normal green and growth months ... which is May through October is going to arrive with brown, burned leaves. They will recover and go green again, but they are going to look dead on arrival.
