Superb shrub for accent, specimen or border use in semi-shaded areas; desired for the splendid, abundant, showy blue globe-shaped flower clusters. Handsome foliage on boldly branched, mounded form. Deciduous. Partial sun. Fast-growing to 4 to 6 feet high, equal width. Container grown.
Few plants offer such beautiful Dutch blue coloring as Hydrangea when grown in acidic soils. Perfect for cool-colored garden schemes featuring purple, pink and white. Gorgeous as an accent amidst lighter greens or when planted in a mass to intensify the impact of these flowers in large spaces. Big enough to provide reliable foundation planting along walls, fences or as partitions and screens. Zone: 5 to 9.
Has moderate water requirements and a moderate tolerance for salt and alkali soils.

Shipping and planting times are winter and spring months. Please choose from following months: November thru April. But we will make exceptions with limited warranties due to heat during shipping.
And, any tree shipped during normal green and growth months ... Which is May through October is going to arrive with brown, burned leaves. They will recover and go green again, but they are going to look dead on arrival.
