Cottonwood Tree

The Cottonwood Tree is a very fast growing tree that displays a broad crown at maturity. The superior cottonwood provides good protection when used in windbreaks and shelterbelts. It will produce cotton, but no seed. Requires irrigation to become established in dry areas. It has high water requirements to establish, and has a low tolerance to salt and alkali.

Plant Zone: Zone 4 , Zone 5 , Zone 6 , Zone 7 , Zone 8 , Zone 9 , Zone 10

Size at Maturity: 50 - 75 ft

Cottonwood Trees... The tree cuttings are one foot long (12") from established trees. Shipping and planting times are winter and spring months. Please choose from following months: November thru April. But we will make exceptions with limited warranties due to heat during shipping.

And, any tree shipped during normal green and growth months ...which is May through October is going to arrive with brown, burned leaves. They will recover and go green again, but they are going to look dead on arrival.
