Hardwood trees will grow anywhere in the United States and that is the majority of what we grow.
The seedlings are mostly purchased from state and government
owned nurseries, and independent seedling greenhouses in surrounding
states... Planted in our fields and cultivated just like any other crop
until they are ready to dig and ship.
Most have been moved and transplanted at least twice so they are extremely strong and durable trees and shrubs.
We are not a nursery and the farm is not open to the public. The only retail outlet we have is this website and eBay. All trees must be shipped via USPS and we do combine multiple orders to save you shipping charges.
Our normal shipping months are from the last week of October
until April of each year. This is while the trees are totally dormant
and extremely safe to dig and ship.
Our average success rate of field planting seedlings is 95%.
Unless we have extreme drought conditions the trees are cared for by
Mother Nature only once they are put in the ground. We do not fertilize
them or force them to grow faster than normal... Thi produces extremely
strong trees and root systems.
We will ship during other months if we think the tree itself will
stand being dug and shipped during the heat months... However, our
guarantees are limited during these months.
We presently grow over 300 different varities of trees and
shrubs. All orders of 25 to 10,000 trees of the same variety must be
placed a minimum of 60 days before you wish shipment. This is the only
way we can control our inventory and ensure that the trees will be in
stock in the quantity you desire.
